The 2008 Season: Week 14
If you get sent to the "News and Results" page after hitting the "Send your picks" button, then everything went fine and both of us should have your picks in our mail box now. Home teams are no longer checked by default, instead the result will be left blank if you fail to make a selection for a game (whether on purpose or in error) before submitting. Double check your picks to make sure you haven't missed any.
IMPORTANT - I've been having web server problems, so if your submission fails or sends you to the Mindspring error page instead of the Results page, just KEEP TRYING. If several attempts still gets no results, then try an hour or so later, or you can just mail your picks to me and I'll try submitting them myself. Sometimes it even affects my updates to the pages, so be patient after games end for me to get it done. Thanks.

ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMERS ABOUT ERRORS AND LOST MAIL:
The internet is a volitile and unstable system. E-mail is not a guaranteed thing.
Sometimes I may not receive your picks. If I don't know then it is not my problem.
It is up to you to confirm I have your picks on time (by start of the first game).
If I make an error with a game (like putting a team down as playing more than
one game) and don't fix it quickly, that game will not count for anybody.
Please e-mail me or call me immediately if you see something like that.
RULES CLARIFICATION ABOUT EARLY GAMES AND PICK CHANGES:
You CAN change you picks if you want, just send me your updated choices.
Once the first SUNDAY game starts though, no changes can be made to your picks.
For those weeks with Thursday or Saturday games you can pick for just those
games and submit the rest of your picks before the games start on Sunday.
(You cannot, of course, change the picks of any games already played earlier).
Please duplicate any early picks on your final submission for easier checking.
IMPORTANT SUBMISSION INFORMATION:
It is YOUR responsability to know when to submit your picks so as to be on time.
If you fail to submit your picks before ANY game starts (either by missing out on an
early game or not picking at all for an entire week that you have agreed to enter
(by pre-paying), then YOU LOSE those missed games no matter which team wins.
This means you do not just get the home team by default choice, as we used to do.
If you forget and miss a pre-Sunday game, you CAN still submit Sunday picks and be in.
You might even still have a chance left to win. People have all picked wrong before!
