Vacation 2004

So, I went on a road trip. I drove just about 3,500 miles across Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming and back home to California. Here are some of the things I saw:

I saw a storm in the desert. Actually, I saw three storms in the desert, but who's counting?

I saw a rainbow. It's not a pot of gold at the end, but a very large open pit copper mine.

I saw petroglyphs.

I saw Chaco.

I saw desert.

I saw old friends, new friends and even a few relatives.

And, I came to the conclusion that people who live in stone houses shouldn't throw glasses.

I took 150 photos, but they won't all fit here. So, this is the abbreviated version of the illustrated story. Please pardon omissions, especially if you know I took your picture and I didn't include it here.
