Clep benefits
- Millions people have taken CLEP
tests. From High School students, who want a head start on
college, to people interested in advancing their career,
people of all ages are taking the fast track to a college
degree. Some of the advantages of CLEP testing include the following: save time, save
money, bypass courses, and improve your chances for college entrance
by giving schools clear evidence of your academic ability.
- Also, there are no prerequisites for taking a CLEP based
on age, degree requirement, etc. However, you must meet your
college's specific requirements before a college will accept the
credit. The outcome of your CLEP exam is sent to you so it
would not be a bad mark on your record to fail. Conceivably, a person can earn up to about a third of the credit required
for a degree.

- If you are willing to approach studying for these
exams like an 8 hour-a-day job, then you may get credit
for up to a third of a two-year degree from only
a few months of study at a fraction of the
cost. Your current grade point average is neither
helped nor hurt. Excellent study materials exist for free in libraries for the General CLEP exams.
