SAFER is providing to the LIDAR, nuclear, scientific and industrial user the MCS-100 Multichannel Scaler Averager ultra high speed (330MHz count rate),
short range bin (37.5 meters)
and the Synchron-II Synchronized Clock Generator for
LIDAR Remote sensing, nuclear and high speed counting applications.
The MCS-100 Multichannel Scaler Averager and Synchron-II Synchronized Clock Generator
fit in an IBM PC ISA slot.
One or more MCS-100(s) are synchronized and clocked with the Synchron-II Synchronized Clock Generator.
The Synchron-II can drive multiple data acquisition devices & systems that require timing synchronized to an external event.
Eye-Safe, RAMAN, DIAL LIDAR systems and nuclear counting systems are now operating with these IBM PC-based MCS-100 Multichannel Scaler and Synchron-II Synchronized Clock Generator.

All data acquisition is done in hardware on the MCS-100. Data memory is on-board.
